the nation today

RUKUN NEGARA APPRECIATION CAMPAIGN?? couldn't they think of anything better to do? we read the rukun negara every monday during assembly for 11 years. i doubt slapping them on bottles of mineral water and tissue boxes would create any more appreciation than it already has.

first it was the stupid song composition competition...now this. i think the money and effort would be put to better use if it goes to charitable work. all this awareness and appreciation campaigns won't work.

we really have it good in KL and in most parts of malaysia. i can't imagine having to drive 100km to a hospital during an emergency. 100km is freaking far...its like from my house to klia and back. beating someone up for being "over friendly" is just wrong. besides...i thought guys enjoy girl on girl action. or was she literally over friendly....that could potentially be irritating.

email ke hand written letter? i've always wondered whether our world leaders are internet savvy...or do they have someone to do it for them? how about microsoft office?

seems like malaysia and singapore has something in common...somehow or rather...a racial group is "accused" of being marginalized. hm...the leaders should just do a survey. ask the people whether they think they are being marginalized. the government is definitely going to deny it...they enforced the policies and laws that govern us and now that it is being questioned i'm pretty sure they're not going to admit that it is a flawed system. so who best to ask...the people. you want an honest opinion? you want the truth about how we chinese feel about malaysia? ask the people...not the members of parliament...not the high ranking officials...but the average people...the people down here at the poverty level.
