train?

What happened to the plane?
anyway...i'll most likely be taking a job here in k.l. i guess i should give home a chance before fleeing to another country. not that i've never worked in k.l before but i should stop comparing it with singapore. k.l doesn't stand a chance next to singapore if you ask me. "the economist" didn't rank singapore as the 11th on the 'worldwide quality of life index 2005' for nothing. but i must admit there are some things that can't be replaced...friends and family...oh and food.

certain parameters are used to determine the rankings and from what i can see they pretty much have everything covered. click on the picture if you're interested in finding out more. malaysia ranks 36th...not bad actually. i'm surprised the britain had such a terrible spot on the chart. i guess assumptions can always go severely wrong.

anyway...the option to go back to singapore will always be there. so what do i have to lose by staying here and trying my hand at something other than teaching? it's a challenge and hopefully an adventure :)
