i can sleep soundly now that i know i've bagged the 9200 bucks.

anyway...its been a hell of a month. world cup is almost over. 3 matches left before the winner is crowned. i was rooting for germany to win but for 9200 bucks i had to support italy. since germany is out of contention i will now support portugal. but then again...italy has a whole load of hot looking players so its a tough choice between portugal and italy.

finally got my first pay cheque since i came back from singapore. feels good to be back and working again. realized that i'm not too familiar with the fast cheque system back here. in singapore i'd just drop the cheque into the slot. no forms to fill out...no buttons to press. before i left for singapore the banks in malaysia were still using the bank in slip system where i had to fill out the form and slot it into the envelope and keep the yellow slip. so imagine me going to UOB and trying to figure out which way to insert the cheque and all that. i had to enlist the help of a friendly security guard who taught me how to use the machine. shy...i so jakun.

anyway...i'm finally settling down with work and all. i've retired from teaching and moved to being a glorified office girl/secretary. i sat down for 2 hours yesterday trying to sort out all my brothers documents and files and i realized i'm really anal when it comes to certain things. i get pissed off when reinforcement rings are not stuck to the punched holes of documents. when you start flipping through it'll get bigger and start to tear. so ugly. i also get pissed off when my cds and dvds aren't arranged and labelled properly. who would've guessed that i'm a neat freak....
